Almost Time For the Bees to Pollinate the Almonds

Early February is the time the Bees enter the almonds to do some pollinating. The Almond trees offer up nectar and pollen and the Bees collect and fly from flower to flower on the trees which in that process redistributes the pollen from flower to flower and from tree to tree. Almond nectar and pollen is great nutrition for the bees and help them build up for the new cycles. Almond honey is not collected by beekeepers as the honey doesn’t taste so good.
